![]() In fact, more than one independent successful game like To The Moon has been created using this tool. Several game asset DLCs are also available, so you can enjoy creating games from the day you purchase it. It has everything that is necessary for the creation of fantasy worlds and unique adventures. RPG Developer Bakin is a game development tool that allows anyone to create RPGs using intuitive operations and advanced features without the need for programming knowledge. RPG Maker is one of the best tools for the creation of videogames that we can find at this moment. In just a few hours, we will have already started to create our own adventure and we can start the first fights. So that it´s easier to start working with RPG Maker, it includes an example module that we can use as tutorial and thanks to which we will be able to learn nearly all its controls. The application already has lots of sprites, sounds, music and various illustrations with which we can work, although we will be able to import our own material to create a totally unique adventure. Thanks to its aesthetics and mechanics, it will be easy to create JRPG games (games with the same style as Final Fantasy, Legend of Mana or Lufia). ![]() So there's another.RPG Maker is a videogame creation tool specialized in role games that will allow us to create fantasy worlds from scratch, to enjoy them afterwards.or let others enjoy them. I hope it doesn't hurt too much when you fall off of that pedestal.ĮDIT: Plus the OP is in the RPG Maker crowd(obviously, this is a forum for RMMV). Being attracted the idea/prospect of something doesn't mean that you think it's the next coming of Christ, it just means you're interested in it. They were assuming that people in the general RPG Maker community wouldn't be interested, which is just blatantly wrong. Even one person shows that there is an audience for it. But I do speak for other people who have a similar mindset as me, as do you for people who think like you. It works both sides when you're trying to be an idiot and say one person doesn't represent anyone else. Are you saying that one person's lone opinion speaks on behalf of the entire RPG Crowd? Got a little megalomania there yourself, mate. Yes, and I have friends I've shown this two that are in the RPG Maker crowd who are also interested. Unless you really are self centered to believe your opinion speaks for everyone. Originally posted by FinalBoss:Sorry but 1 person isn't a crowd, and his point still stands. It's 3D, it's for RPGs, and has alot of the same ssytems as far as database controlling a lot of it. And in all honesty, there are just not that many 3D turn based RPGs games, so for people to keep wanting 3D, MyRPG Master in indeed the perfect solution for them. Especially depending on how many people switch out the battle system right away, or add other scripts to make it more and more deviated from it's JRPG background. You may think that's what RPG Maker is known for, but it's not entirely accurate. Originally posted by TheNathanParable:I don't think you can really consider this a "3D RPG Maker", not yet anyway. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to come with any standard graphics like RPG Maker or MyRPG Master, and admittedly the playable Demo Project doesn't really do a good job of showing off what it can do, but if you're already familiar with Unity it might be worth considering. It seems capable of making a few different types of RPG, all without coding. Now, if you want a 3D RPG Maker that is available now, and you don't mind having to make most/all of the assets yourself, you could try out the ORK Framework for Unity: ![]() Now apparently the developer of MyRPG Master is planning to add turn-based combat sometime during the Beta, which is pretty cool, but until then I don't think MyRPG Master will attract the RPG Maker crowd. These are two very different types of RPGs, so comparing the two is a little bit like comparing apples to oranges. Meanwhile, MyRPG Master seems to be for making action RPGs more in line with Morrowind or Skyrim. RPG Maker is known for making JRPGs (Japanese RPGs), a style of RPG typically categorised by it's random encounters and turn-based battle systems (think Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, or Star Ocean). I don't think you can really consider this a "3D RPG Maker", not yet anyway.
